Highlight Clips:

People in power don’t want you to vote because they want to stay in power.
— Kat Calvin
One of the more covert forms of voter suppression is not teaching people why they should care, why their vote matters, and what the powers of these offices are. And that, to me, is sort of a really insidious form of voter suppression
— Ben Sheehan

Any excuse for wine and politics...
— Nathalia Ramos

It’s about connecting the dots between the thing you care about and the person who has the power to affect that.
— Ben Sheehan

What I would say to people who are still trying to make sense of how we vote for president is to pay attention to a couple of days:
December 8th,
which is the last chance that states could make changes to the electors and
December 14th, which is the actual vote when they when they vote.

- Ben Sheehan

“The government works for us and we do have the power to influence the way that these decisions are made.”

- Nathalia Ramos

*REMEMBER*

  1. Order your absentee ballot NOW

  2. Return your ballot ASAP

  3. Look for Ballot Boxes and polling centers in your area, as opposed to mailing

  4. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Some states make you sign the envelope, have a witness sign and other dumb shit that can get your vote thrown out if you don’t do it!

“Keep Calm, Have a Drink, and Vote”

This event was hosted by AllBright, a collective of physical members clubs in London and Los Angeles and a global digital community, focused on improving and inspiring the lives of working women.
