WTF is Antitrust?

🤔 Why does it seem that half of Silicon Valley in the Congressional hot seat? That has to do with something called antitrust law - and if you have no idea wtf that is, don’t worry, I got you.

💡 In this video, I am going to give you the simplest explanation of antitrust out there (trust me, I've done the research!). We're going to cover two of the biggest antitrust cases in American history - Standard Oil and AT&T - and how they led to the big tech battle we are seeing play out today.

✨ My takeaway? Regulation isn’t anti-capitalist if it enables competition, but our framework for addressing anticompetitive behavior that hurts consumers needs to evolve for the digital age, and it’s going to take some imagination and skill from lawmakers.
